WHY DO I DO WHAT I DO?
3 FACTS THAT YOU PROBABLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT BEING BEHIND THE SCENES @ #MARTASHA HANDMADE JEWELLERY & GIFTS
Number 1. I work really hard to give my two Jack Russells a good life.
Marmite & Pickle spend quite a bit of time with me out on the road and some of you lovely customers will have met them in person at various shows.
The 3 of us live together in a quiet village on the edge of the Lake District and when we are not at shows or working in the studio we can be found living, laughing and loving the great outdoors.
Pickle is the boss and Marmite and I are a close second.....life is good with 2 Jack Russells in tow
Number 2. Pickle is our company mascot however "Martasha" was named after my first two Jack Russells that I had from being a child through to early adulthood.
Meet Marti and Tasha!!
Marti was my first little dog and is responsible for me becoming the "crazy dog" lady....now I guess I might have lost some of you at this point but those with the love of dogs will get this blog.
Tasha was a truly bonkers little dog who the vet described as "special needs" but to me she was a loving, affectionate adorable little dog and I still miss them every single day.
Number 3. We launched our photograph range to celebrate our lives that we live with our four legged friends and for the first 12 months we only worked with "pets".
Our rouges gallery at home grew and grew with all the lovely photos we captured for our customers own pets but we were asked all the time to do "people" too...
So after many requests, 3 years ago we extended the range to capture memories across the whole family and in truth we haven't looked back.

I named my business mogirl designs- i grew ip in a small town called mogo and love to design... its funny where we get our names from. Our kids (Marmalde & Jam ) feature in my blog to.
Can't wait to read more! I love finding out the background behind business names... I chose Buffycat Designs after my first little cat who was so sweet natured & was called Buffy! (she was not of course a vampire slayer; more of a bad mouse catcher!!) x
